Many times the criminals have a 3 month head start on you and usually by the time you find out, it is too late.<br /><br />I have been affected by identity theft, not once, but twice over the last 5 years. To this day, I still wonder if I will be struck again. Criminals have so many ways to get to your information these days, it is near impossible to be completely protected.
